Consensus Decision Making

The core philosophy about decision making in Eekos is common sense and concern for others based on the “consensus” decision making process,  which involves working to get a satisfactory decision for all involved rather than voting majority..

For small decisions, the individual or team makes the decision while considering those affected.

For more important, and Eekos wide decisions, a formal consensus style of agreement is used in conjunction with the representation system explained in the next characteristic – “7 – Representative system”.

This ensures all members’ needs are taken into account.
